How do I book?
When you’re ready to make your booking, you can book online using the ‘Book Now’ button on the home page. This will take you to an availability calendar where you can check date availability before making your booking. Online bookings are provisional, and we will contact you to confirm the details as soon as possible.
How much deposit do I need to pay and when will the balance be due?
30% deposit will be requested to secure your dates. This will need to be paid by card or bank transfer within 24 hours of booking. Your final balance and security deposit will be due 8 weeks before arrival. If you would prefer a payment plan please get in touch so that we can discuss options.
Why can I only select certain days to check in on the calendar?
Our standard check in day is Friday. Through out the year we also offer Monday check ins whenever possible. During low season we offer more flexible options with a minimum stay of 2 nights. Our seasons are shown on our "rates" page.
Can an extra guest stay?
Our maximum number of guests is 8 in beds and 2 infants in cots. We are unable to exceed this number of guests.
How do you define infants and children?
Infants are up to 2 years of age sleeping in a travel cot. A child is anyone aged 2-17 or a child aged under 2 sleeping in a bed. Infants in cots are able to stay in addition to 8 adults and children in beds; if you require this option please let us know and we can manually add the infants on for you.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, up to 4 house trained dogs are very welcome to join your holiday at Felin Traeth Cottage. We charge a supplementary charge of £20 per dog. If you need to change the number of dogs after you have booked then please get in touch.
Dogs are not permitted in bedrooms or on any furniture and should never be left at the property unattended. We have a mix of fences around the rear garden, please see our video on our social media channels for more details.
Do you have Wifi?
Yes, we have BT fibre broadband. As this service is provided by a third party, we do not guarantee service availability.
What is the security deposit?
The security deposit is a cautionary deposit to protect for any accidental damage, breakages, losses or additional cleaning following your stay. It is very rare that we have needed to retain part or all of this deposit, and when we have, we have contacted our guests during our changeover to try and resolve any issues without needing to retain the deposit.
The deposit is always refunded back to your original payment method. If you paid by card, it will be refunded on to the card used to pay your final balance within 24 hours of departure. If you paid by bank transfer, you will receive an email from us within 24 hours of departure asking for your bank details so that we can return it to you.
